Coffe Cupping
Sensory experience where different types of coffee are tasted, learning to differentiate the good one from de bad one, approximately tour 1 hour
Cocoa Tour
The tour is fully accompanied and guided by one of the park’s interpreters and consists on the following stations and activities
Bitute (Lunch)
It has beans, rice, arepa (food made from corn), fried egg, ground beef, fried pork rind, slice of ripe banana….
RECUCA is the tour of the coffee culture, where visitors can take on the role of a Coffee grower, Knowing the coffee process from the seed to the cup. In Recuca, our guests will enjoy the experience of living in the farm.
“Recuca” is located in Calle Larga – Barcelona, village of the municipality of Calarca. Recuca is inside of the Coffee Cultural Landscape. It is located 20 minutes from Calarca or from Armenia. Paved road, easy access and beautiful landscapes are found.

Bitute (a kind of Lunch): which consists of beans, rice, arepa (food made from corn), fried egg, ground beef, fried pork rind, slice of ripe banana, mazamorra (drink made from corn), raw cane sugar (panela) and a drink consisting of water, raw cane sugar, lemon and cinnamon called bogadera. Lunch is served in pewter tableware.
Vegetarian Lunch: If you are going to take the bitute (lunch), arrive between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. If you arrive at this time you do not need to book.

Tours and coffee tastings
start every half hour. The first one begins
at 9 : 00 am and the last one finishes at 3:00 pm. Estimated duration about 3 hours
