Guided tour of the coffee culture. The program consists of the following parts:
- Men mule drivers and women coffee growers. Visitors can wear either Men mule drivers dresses or women coffee growers typical dresses. A recreational activity is done.
- Visit the Coffee Trail. Among coffee plantations we will observe the Coffee Cultural Landscape. Also the work of coffee cultivation is explained. It is a flat trail, the walk lasts approximately 30 minutes, suitable for children, families and seniors.
- Coffee Harvest. All participants have the opportunity to wear outfits that are currently wearing the coffee growers and doing a performance of the coffee harvest. Payment collection coffee (ticket issued by the bank collector, educational bill).
- Post – Harvest. It is done around the house, where you can visit the ancient and the ecological coffee process where currently the coffee farm is processed.
- Coffee rite. It is taught to prepare and drink coffee. A cup of exportation coffee is offered by Recuca .
- Welcome drink consisting of coffee with raw cane sugar (panela) called “Chaqueta” is served and in the middle of the tour a drink consisting of water, raw cane sugar, lemon and cinnamon is offered. This beverage is called “the bogadera”.
- Sample coffee (7 grams of toasted coffee)
- A tour guide will assist you all the time.
- The program duration is approximately 3 hours.

The program starts once a group of about 50 people are formed. After 30 minutes if more people do not get the tour, it starts regardless of the number of participants. While the groups are formed, you have the opportunity to visit the “Fonda Caminera La Putería” where you will find variety of handicrafts of our region and buy drinks for the tour.
- The duration of the program is approximately 3:00 hours.
- Children with stature less than 90 cm have no cost, if it is older you must cancel the total value of the rate.
- The program begins once groups of approximately 40 people have been formed, if after half an hour no more people arrive, the tour begins regardless of the number of participants. While the groups are formed, they have the opportunity to visit the Fonda Caminera La Puteria where you will find a variety of crafts from our region and buy hydrating drinks for the tour. Value $ 50.000.
The hours of operation are every day from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (last admission).
Recuca is not responsible for weather conditions that prevent activities from being carried out in some stations, however, it offers plastic dresses with a hood on loan.
